Twitch minecraft modpack is not downloading

So twitch app sucks. It takes forever to load the mods tab so I need to install modpacks "manually". The problem is that when I move the modpack file into bltadwin.ruaft file, it replaces some things and therefore I can't play normal minecraft again unless I revert minecraft. You might have to search for the creator's name instead of the name of the mod/modpack, but that's what worked for me. I also have a windows 10 laptop so hopefully, this helps!.
